Here’s how B2B Wave and
Katana
work together:
Create sales orders
- Create and update sales orders in Katana from B2B Wave. Orders can be sent automatically when they reach the order status you choose, or with one click from the order page.
- B2B Wave transfers the order details (customer, products, prices, shipping costs, requested delivery date, and customer comments) directly to Katana, and maps your sales tax rules to your Katana tax rates.
- Choose the Katana location, the sales order status, and the order number format for orders created from B2B Wave.
Customers
- When an order is sent to Katana, B2B Wave finds the existing customer by email or creates a new customer in Katana, including their shipping and billing addresses.
Inventory
- When you change an item’s stock quantity in Katana, the product’s inventory level is automatically updated in B2B Wave. Updates run every 1 hour.
- Use the stock from all your Katana locations, or from a single location.
Tracking numbers and order statuses
- B2B Wave orders are automatically updated with the tracking number, carrier, and order status from Katana. Updates run every 1 hour.
